2012 Cooking Classes
Start at 10.30am with a coffee, spend 2 hours in the kitchen learning the do’s and how’s, then join your fellow classmates for a sumptuous lunch and a glass or two of Chapel Hill award-wining wine overlooking the vineyard. After lunch wander across to our gallery and cellar door.
April 1st - Chocolique
Learn about all things chocolate with local Belgian Chocolatier
Karel Vandersteegen followed by a sumptious regional luncheon
May 20th - Running of the bulls - Our most popular class!
Food from Spain, one of the worlds’ hottest destinations
July 8th - Earthly delights
Truffles, mushrooms, heirloom vegetables and other earthly delights
Aug 5th – Hawkers’ corner
Morsels of tasty street food fromSouth East Asia- no jau gwei!
August 26th – Welcome to the Kasbah (fez optional)
Trawling the Middle Eastern bazaar; dates, almonds, saffron and other exotic flavours
Sept 23rd – African Safari
FromEthiopiatoTanzania, learn to prepare Injera bread, marinating and BBQ, curries and pickles
Nov 25th – Santaphobia; an abnormal, persistent fear of Father Christmas
Boar, snowmen and gingerbread, break out the egg nog – bad Santa is coming to town……
All classes are $175.00 per participant and include all recipes, apron, lunch, wine and personalised tuition.
